Transition Asheville Food Network

The Transition Asheville Food Network works to create a thriving regional food system that provides fresh, delicious, and nutritious food to the inhabitants of Asheville and the Katuah bioregion.  We seek to create a Food Energy Descent Action Plan (or FEDAP) for the region in the face of peak oil, climate change, and the instability of the global economy, while simultaneously building a supportive web of regional food allies.

Leveraging Asheville Green Drinks

As a founder of Asheville Green Drinks, I am no longer convinced that in such a green town with so many green presentations that our current "presenter/panel" model is relevant. Because Transition Asheville is specifically dedicated to transforming our community and seems to be rooted in practical planning and action I believe it might hold the key to Asheville Green Drinks' relevancy.
