Wasabi Cultivation

Fresh Wasabi roots (imported) are offered on the Internet for $100/lb. Very little is produced in America at present, but Western NC offers ideal conditions. If you have cold, clear running water you may be able to grow this valuable crop. This workshop will cover the basics of site selection and preparation, propagation, and cultivation.
